The biggest difference between scraping putty and latex paint:

3. In terms of durability, latex paint is more durable than putty, putty will be powdered when wet, and it is not resistant to scrubbing. Relatively speaking, some of the better latex paint, durability is better, after painting will form a layer of paint film on the wall, if dirty can be used wet towels for scrubbing.
